Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and his mother Ata at the premiere of "Red Notes" in November 2021. Ata-Johnson was in a car accident on Wednesday night.

The actor included a long comment thanking God that his mother was fine.
"The Angels of Mercy were watching my mom in a car accident late last night," Johnson said.
The Escalade shell ruptured and collapsed, exposing the interior and airbag that appeared to be scattered on the driver's side. Johnson, 50, said his mother would undergo further evaluation after the frightening collapse. "This woman survived lung cancer, a difficult marriage, her face collided with a drunk driver and she tried to commit suicide," he shared in the caption. "She is a survivor, in ways that make angels and miracles a reality."

"The Rock" shared a photo of his mother's car after Wednesday's accident.
The former professional wrestler thanked the LAPD and fire departments for helping her and talking to him over the phone. Then give some advice - tell others about their parents' hug. "He left a parent, so if you still kept your mom and dad, make sure you hug them tightly, because you never know when you're going to get a 3 a.m. call that we never want to get," Johnson said.
